Google (2020-Present)

I currently work as an Interaction Designer at Google —more specifically in mobile search.

In my experience at Google, I’ve worked on features for the iOS and Android versions of the Google App. I’ve also worked on some trust, safety & privacy features for both versions of the app. More recently, I’ve focused “Search Input”: the all-around experience from tapping on a search box to landing on a search results page.

Adobe

I am currently a Lead Interaction Designer in Adobe’s Commerce Design team, where I am working on various projects with a focus on mobile user experience. Some of these efforts are around mobile web commerce flows on Adobe.com, as well as paywalls on Adobe’s ecosystem of native mobile apps for iOS and Android.

JP morgan chase

As a Lead UX Designer, I have worked in various mobile-focused projects around personal and small business banking.

I led a small team of designers working on the first version Chase Pay: Chase's own mobile and web payment solution, as well as Chase Pay’s integration and partnership with other merchants.

I also worked on the strategy behind an API-led mobile ecosystem; integrated various capabilities from Chase Business Online into mobile; led the mobile QuickPay for Business experience; and worked on bringing new life into Chase Mobile Checkout: Chase’s own point-of-sale solution.

rackspace

As a Lead UX Designer, I was in charge of designing experiences around dedicated (as well as self-serving) cloud offerings. I was also involved in creating a brand new pattern and component library for all of Rackspace's products and offerings.

dell

As a Senior UX Designer at Dell's Experience Design Group (EDG), I designed the integration of new rapid-caching technologies with existing Dell storage solutions. I also contributed to the efforts behind designing a new pattern library for Dell's enterprise offerings.

novenapp

This is a side project that allowed me to continue doing mobile UX work while I was a working as a Lead UX Designer at Rackspace. I wanted to create an app that would be useful to people during Novena: a unique Christmas tradition in Colombia.

Part of Pearson’s Core Technology Group, I was an Interaction Designer working on various textbook-companion web sites and internal web-based management systems. I designed task flows, wireframes, performed heuristic evaluations; contextual inquiries and defined the information architecture for various products.
